Our Team

Boulevard du Bonheur is made up of a Beninese non governmental organisation (NGO), of a French association and of volunteers accross Europe. This organisation has one major goal, i.e. sustainable development in Benin, according to the Millennium Development Goals set by the United Nations. Thanks to its dynamic members, we developp projects and activities in Benin with our partner organisations, located in Europe and Benin.

Most of our members are volunteers in Benin. The rest of them are mostly Beninese expatriates living in Europe.

This NGO was created thanks to a long time friendship between three Beninese friends

The NGO Boulevard du Bonheur was the idea of three friends : Rodrigue Akpadji, Claude Boco and Modeste Atecossi. They grew up together and acquired complementary competencies.

As a beginning, the launched simple actions in their district in Cotonou (sports events, youth help...). For many years, they have workded to create an organisation for sustainable development in Benin. With time, they found other people they could trust, weither in Benin or abroad. This network, based on strong ties and links between people is the key to this organisation's success.
